Eligibility Criteria – Age Limit & Education Qualification
Teaching
1. For Professor of Law (Regular)
- Educational Qualification: As per UGC Regulations 2018 for Professor of Law
- Experience: As prescribed under UGC Regulations 2018 for the Professor position
- API Score Form: Candidates must fill and upload the prescribed API Score Form
- Publications: Copy of all publications (cover page, copyright, ISSN/ISBN, authorial page) required in hard copy
2.For Assistant Professor of Law (Contractual)
- Educational Qualification: As per UGC Regulations 2018 for Assistant Professor of Law
- Experience: Teaching/research experience as prescribed under UGC Regulations 2018
- Publications: Documentation of research papers and publications required in hard copy
- Contract Period: 1 year, extendable by appropriate authority at University’s discretion
Non Teaching
1. Registrar (Tenure Basis)
- Academic Background: Must be an academic person in law not below the rank of a Professor
- API Score Form: Fill and upload the prescribed API Score Form
- Publications: Complete copies of all publications (with cover page, copyright, ISSN/ISBN, authorial page) required in hard copy
- Tenure Period: 5 years or till age 62 years, whichever is earlier
2. Assistant Registrar (Regular)
- Educational Qualification: Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade B in UGC seven-point scale
- Experience Option A: 5 years’ experience as Section Officer/Superintendent Grade-II/Personal Assistant in Central/State University/Government Department/Educational Institution
- Experience Option B: 3 years’ teaching experience in a UGC-approved University/College/Institution
- Computer Knowledge: Good working knowledge of computer applications (mandatory)
- Age Limit: No upper age limit (subject to superannuation)
- Desirable: M.Tech/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.B.A in Technical Education; Knowledge of customs, manners of Himachal Pradesh
3. Driver-cum-Office Attendant (Light Vehicle)
- Educational Qualification: 10th Pass
- Driving License: Valid Light Vehicle/Heavy Vehicle Driving License from Competent Authority
- Language: Knowledge of Hindi
- Experience (Preferable): 2 years’ driving experience
- Age Limit: 18 to 45 years (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Freedom Fighters’ children & grandchildren)
4. Electrician (Regular)
- Educational Qualification: 10th Pass or equivalent from recognized Board
- Technical Qualification: 2 years’ Diploma in Electrician Trade from recognized I.T.I
- Age Limit: 18 to 45 years
5. Plumber (Regular)
- Educational Qualification: 10th Pass or equivalent from recognized Board
- Technical Qualification: 1 year’s Diploma in Plumbing Trade from recognized I.T.I
- Age Limit: 18 to 45 years
6. Carpenter (Regular)
- Educational Qualification: 10th Pass or equivalent from recognized Board
- Technical Qualification: 1 year’s Diploma in Carpentry Trade from recognized I.T.I
